To kick off the new year, we decided to watch a new movie, ‘Wonder Woman 1984.’ Though this was shown in theaters, it also hit HBO Max upon its release—which could be the start of an interesting new trend. The only problem is, it was incredibly bland. That the movie occurs in 1984 seems hardly connected to the plot, there is too much going on at once, and for an action movie, there’s not a whole lot of action. What did we dislike about it? Why was there so little action? What does the movie say about unintended consequences? Join Sean, Paul, and Jen as they discuss all this and more on this week’s episode of Out of Frame: Behind the Scenes.
